This water is contaminated and will hurt you if ingested. This could come from the exit pipe of your shower, a broken toilet, or broken sump pump. Category 2 water contains organisms which is removed immediately. Category 3 is called black water for a good reason. It contains many micro-organisms that will damage your home and hurt you if ingested. Sources of black water include sewage and contamination of standing water. This will make your house stink and needs to be professionally cleaned.
